I opened GSK Creations in 2007 after working in Corporate Information Systems for 18 years. I started out by taking action photos of youth athletes to create original collages. This expanded into taking on team and individual portraits for leagues, and business has taken off ever since.
I decided to jump into Senior Portraits in 2009. I was very excited (ok, nervous!) about this, so it was all word-of-mouth and by referral only. Building on my confidence and feedback received, I've been expanding my senior offerings, getting educated in lighting, and learning as much as I can. I still don't advertise very much -- that way I don't get bored with it, and can make each session special.
My specialty is still, and will always be, sports photography. My daughter, Brianna, is a former softball player and competitive cheerleader, and my sons, Ben and Tyler, are involved in football, basketball, baseball, and running. In case I ever get bored at night, I can always spend the evening at a sporting event with my husband, Mark, who is the Athletic Director at Bedford High School.
I'd love to hear from you about how I can handle your team or league photography!
